Dale McDowell fourth in Scott Bloomquist Memorial at Volunteer Speedway

On Thursday evening, Dale McDowell joined a field of 41 Super Late Models at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the first-ever Scott Bloomquist Memorial with the FloRacing Night in America Series.

McDowell set quicktime in qualifying and won his heat race which earned him a starting position on the front row for the 50-lap, $20,018-to-win main event. Dale raced inside the Top-5 and wound up fourth when the checkered flag flew. He trailed Jonathan Davenport, Hudson O'Neal and Camaron Marlar while Jimmy Owens completed the Top-5.
