Third-place outing with HTF Series in North Georgia Speedway opener
Dale McDowell and his Shane McDowell Racing team were one of 35 Super Late Model entries at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.) on Friday and Saturday for two-day swing with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
McDowell swept the early portion of opening as he set fast time in his qualifying, won his heat race and redrew the pole position for the $8,000-to-win feature. Dale wound up on the podium in third behind Zack Mitchell and Hudson O'Neal.
McDowell then wrapped up the weekend with a DNF in the $12,000 finale.
