McDowell lands Top-10 run at Eldora Speedway in Dirt Track World Championship
The Shane McDowell Racing team made the trip to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale as Dale joined a field of 59 Super Late Models for the 45th-annual Dirt Track World Championship.
McDowell clocked in third-fastest in his qualifying group and picked up a heat race win which set him up well for Saturday's main event. Dale started from the third-row in the 100-lapper and came home with a ninth-place finish.
